The Activity breakdown report helps you better understand the effectiveness of the recruiting team in a selected time period. The period filter is based on the date on which a workflow step was completed.

With this report you can:

  • Review the activity of all candidates, including those who are still under consideration, within a selected time period

  • Analyze the ups and downs in the volume of completed steps over time in order to identify considerable trend changes and understand what caused such shifts

  • Examine candidate activity by stage and step in order to identify workflow steps in which a considerable number of candidates have been rejected or withdrawn

  • Focus on the pass-through and the average time-to-complete metrics in order to identify potential bottlenecks in the hiring process

  • Slice the candidate activity data by various criteria in order to explore the effectiveness of the recruiting team on a more granular level

The report is divided into these sections:

  • KPIs - get a quick glance at key metrics relating to completed activity

  • Activity trends - understand activity trends over time

  • Activity Breakdown by stage & step - slice and analyze aggregated activity data by selected criteria with an emphasis on stage and step

Quickly evaluate your activity metrics from this section, which similar to the following:

By default this section displays data taken from the current month, featuring the following metrics:

  • Completed steps - the total number of completed steps

  • Completed CV screens - the total number of completed Go/No-go type steps that are assigned to the Application Screening stage

  • Completed Interviews - the total number of completed interviews

  • Completed Offers - the total number of completed offer-type steps

Activity trend

The Activity trend chart enables you to identify and highlight trend patterns by various time intervals, featuring the following values:

  • Completed steps

  • Completed CV screens

  • Completed Interviews

  • Completed offers

By observing trend shifts in the activity you can investigate the causes for such shifts, learn from them, and improve your hiring process accordingly.

Activity breakdown summary by stage & step

The Activity breakdown summary by stage & step table provides aggregated data of completed activity by stage and step and it features the following values:

  • Reached - the total number of candidates who reached each stage & step

  • In progress - the total number of candidates currently in progress at each stage & step

  • Completed - the total number of candidates who finished each stage & step

  • Passed - the total number of candidates who passed each stage & step

  • Pass-through-rate - the percentage of candidates who passed each stage & step

  • Rejected - the total number of candidates who were rejected at each stage & step

  • Withdrawn - the total number of candidates who withdrew at each stage & step

  • Average time-to-complete (days) - the average number of days it took to complete a step at each stage & step

You can select to view the data by stage or by stage & step. In this way you can find answers to a wide variety of questions and issues you are seeking to investigate.

In addition, you can slice the data by selected criteria, including the default and custom positions fields, along with additional categories such as assigned teammate, source, source type, and many more.
