The Candidate diversity EEO report helps you better understand how diversified your candidate pool is based on data generated by the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) survey. The period filter is based on the date on which the EEO questionnaire was created.

With this report you can:

  • Explore how diversified your candidate pool is based on candidates’ answers to the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) questionnaire

  • Review the pool of candidates with an emphasis on specific demographic groups and compare the performance of one group to the other

  • Identify which groups are doing well and which less so and investigate the cause for such differences in order to make adjustments that ensure equal opportunity for all candidates.

  • Slice the candidate diversity data by various criteria in order to explore and identify, for instance, which positions, departments, or locations tend to be more diverse than others

  • Analyze the ups and downs candidate influx from various groups over time in order to identify periods of considerable trend changes and inquire what caused such shifts

The report is divided into these sections:

  • KPIs - get a quick glance at key metrics relating to candidate diversity

  • Candidate diversity trend - identify trends for candidate diversity over time

  • Candidate diversity performance summary - slice and analyze aggregated data relating to candidate diversity by selected criteria

KPIs

The KPIs section of this report enables you to quickly evaluate your metrics, and appears similar to the following:

By default this section displays data taken from the current month, displaying:

  • Delivered questionnaires - the total number of questionnaires delivered to candidates within the selected time period

  • Completed questionnaires - the total number of questionnaires completed by candidates within the selected time period

  • Female candidates - the percentage of female candidates out of the total number of candidates that answered the gender question and submitted the questionnaire within the selected time period

  • Minority candidates - the percentage of candidates who are members of a minority group out of the total number of candidates that answered the ethnicity question and submitted the questionnaire within the selected time period

  • Candidates with veteran status - the percentage of candidates with veteran status out of the total number of candidates that answered the veteran status question and submitted the questionnaire within the selected time period

  • Disabled candidates - the percentage of candidates with a disability out of the total number of candidates that answered the disability question and submitted the questionnaire within the selected time period

Candidate diversity trend

The Candidate diversity trend chart enables you to identify and highlight trend patterns by various time intervals, featuring the following values:

  • Delivered questionnaires

  • Completed questionnaires

  • Response rate - the percentage of completed questionnaires out of the total number of delivered questionnaires

  • Female (%) - the percentage of female candidates out of the total number of candidates that answered the gender question

  • Gender (total responses) - the total number of candidates that answered the gender question

  • Minority (%) - the percentage of candidates who are members of a minority group out of the total number of candidates that answered the ethnicity question

  • Minority (total responses) - the total number of candidates that answered the ethnicity question

  • Veteran status (%) - the percentage of candidates with veteran status out of the total number of candidates that answered the veteran status question

  • Veteran status (total responses) - the total number of candidates that answered the veteran status question

  • Disability (%) - the percentage of candidates with a disability out of the total number of candidates that answered the disability question

  • Disability (total responses) - the total number of candidates that answered the disability question

By noticing trend shifts in the volume of responses and percentage of each of the above-mentioned demographic groups you can investigate the causes for such shifts, learn from them, and improve your hiring process accordingly.

Candidate diversity performance summary

The Candidate diversity performance summary table provides aggregated data by the following values:

  • Applications - the total number of applications and their percentage per demographic group

  • Qualified - the total number of candidates that passed the first screening step and their percentage per demographic group

  • Reached Advanced Interviews stage - the total number of candidates that reached the Advanced Interviews stage and their percentage per demographic group

  • Reached Offer stage - the total number of candidates that reached the Offer stage and their percentage per demographic group

  • Hired - the total number of candidates that have been hired and their percentage per demographic group

You can slice the data by selected criteria, including the default and custom position fields, along with the candidate diversity categories, namely gender, ethnicity, minority, and veteran status.
