You should contact your attorney to seek legal advice with respect to performing background checks and the required procedures following receipt of background check reports.

Spark Hire Recruit's integration with HireRight makes it simple to run background checks as part of your hiring workflow. Leverage the integration with HireRight to run checks and view candidate evaluations directly from Spark Hire Recruit.

Activate the integration

  1. In Spark Hire Recruit, navigate to Settings > Integrations.

  2. There are two HireRight apps to activate in Spark Hire Recruit:

    1. Under "Sourcing Tools", enable the HireRight integration. In the permissions section, select to share All positions and click Allow access to confirm.

    2. Under "Assessment Tools", enable the HireRight integration.

  3. Contact the Spark Hire Support team at recruit.support@sparkhire.com, informing support that you are setting app the HireRight integration. The team will make sure that there's one matching API key used for both HireRight apps (Sourcing and Assessment) and get back to you to confirm.

  4. Once you receive confirmation from support, copy the API key and provide it to HireRight support:

    1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations and scroll down to the Assessment Tools section.

    2. Find HireRight and click the Integrate button to expand the section.

    3. Click on the Copy API Key option.

    4. Provide the copied API key to your HireRight Technical Consultant.

  5. Wait for HireRight to confirm that the integration has been enabled.

πŸ“ Note: Once the HireRight apps are activated, please avoid deactivating them unless absolutely necessary, as doing so will generate new API keys, which will require the Spark Hire support team to match them again.
