Automatically create a new employee in Click Boarding when you hire a candidate

Click Boarding helps HR onboard new hires with an easier onboarding cloud solution. Everything from form administration, task management, and new hire socialization can be accessed from any internet-enabled device. With an extensive background in compliance, HR can be confident they’re adhering to government and industry regulations.

HR has greater control over the onboarding process, from prioritizing steps to what tasks and content are served for each new hire. All those involved in the process have greater visibility into what’s complete and what needs attention.

Configure the integration

  1. In Recruit, from your avatar at the top right, select Settings > Process > Integrations.

  2. Scroll down to Talent Management and find Click Boarding in the list.

  3. Enter your Click Boarding API Identifier. If you don't know your API Identifier, contact support@clickboarding.com.

  4. To support internal mobility, Recruit lets you skip creating a new profile for someone already employed at your company.

    • To allow this, check Allow users who hire to choose not to create new employee profiles in Click Boarding.

  5. Click Activate.

Working with the Click Boarding integration

After enabling Click Boarding, when a candidate’s status is changed to Hired in Recruit, a new employee profile is created in Click Boarding with the following details:

  • First name (required)

  • Last name (required)

  • Email (required)

  • Profile photo

  • Mobile phone (required)

  • Address (optional)

  • Position

  • Start date

  • Location/Process – Select from the values that are available in Click Boarding when making the hire
